Our Vision
The Birmingham Chapter purpose shall be to foster the health, education and welfare of the general public through promoting education, research, and high standards of care for the patient with neurologic dysfunction and to promote the growth of nursing as a profession.
The functions are to a) provide for continuing growth in the field of neuroscience nursing, b) provide a means for direct communication between neuroscience nurses, c) serve as an educational resource in neuroscience nursing, and d) serve as a source of information concerning the activities of the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses.
